Presentations as Scheduled with Materials

Quick Summary for Presenters

The meeting rooms will have a laptop, Internet access, and projector if you need them. You will be asked to keep the length of your presentation to 10 minutes or less. If you would like to distribute handouts to the meeting, plan on bringing at least 30 per session. We encourage you to post your presentation and/or handouts to this web site prior to, during, or after the conference. If you would like to participate, email your materials to cstockwell@mt.gov. Shortly after, they will appear on the presentations page.

Exchange Session Format

The discussion sessions will cover five broad tracks related to digital information in the government environment. The specific content of each session, however, will be determined by the meeting attendees who have agreed to present their experience and session participants who participate in the discussion.

There are five time slots for the sessions to occur with two to four contributors per session. Each topic area will be repeated three or four times, depending on the interest and number of contributors. However, you will only be required to present your experiences once during one of the time slots.

Each exchange session will have a facilitator who will be responsible for keeping the discussion on topic, fully interactive and participatory. Results of each exchange session will be shared and discussed in the Closing Wrap-Up session.

Time length, visual aids, handouts, posting to this web site

Time Length: Contributions or presentations should last no longer than 10 minutes, with the remainder of the time period of each session devoted to discussion. This time limit is particularly important for those sessions with four primary contributors.

Computer Visual Aids: There will be a projector and computer with high-speed Internet access available for any visual aids or demonstrations you might want to do; however a formal presentation is not required. If you do wish to use the computer for a presentation, we recommend you bring your presentation on a portable flash memory drive.

Handouts: You will be responsible for bringing any handouts you want to give to participants. If you would like to distribute handouts, plan on bringing at least 30 per session. The Great Northern Hotel can make photocopies at the desk for 10 cents per page. There is also:
